 Citation:
A meticulous restoration and enhancement of a splendid late mediaeval
thatched house over Ham stone walls. A wide range of early beams,
doors, fire openings and stone floors - including the original cross-passage
- has been carefully represented and a new and delicately detailed spiral
wood staircase cleverly inserted between the main house and the
former horse engine-house, which is also brought into modern use,
in part as a studio.
